The New York Marriott Downtown hotel in lower Manhattan has completed renovations to its lobby.  In addition, the hotel also completed a renovation of its street-level Starbucks.

The hotel’s lobby now has neutral tones set against dark wood, as well as soft grey carpeting with large red and blue accented swirls.  There are new intimate seating areas with high-backed leather chairs, and the copper-clad elevator bank is accented by starburst chandeliers.

The lobby also has a large piece of graphic artwork depicting the Statue of Liberty at the grand staircase landing.  Inspired by Andy Warhol artwork, the depiction includes six repeated square images of the statue’s head and crown in bright blocked colors of blue, orange, and mustard.

The hotel’s newly-renovated Starbucks is just two blocks from the entrance to the 9/11 Memorial.  Due to its location, the establishment is one of the busiest Starbucks in the city.
