Hyatt announced it will open the Hyatt Chicago The Loop hotel in Chicago in 2015.  The property will be located near various attractions, including the Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, and Grant Park.

The property will have 257 guestrooms, 38 of which will be suites.  The hotel will also have a restaurant and bar, a rooftop bar and lounge, a coffee and sundries outlet, and a fitness center.

There will be eight meeting rooms in the hotel, for a total of over 5,000 square feet (464 square meters) of event space.

The hotel will be located in the body of a former 22-story office building.  Construction on the hotel is expected to begin later this year.
