The Andaz Wall Street hotel in Manhattan announced the reopening of its Concourse Level, which includes new event facilities, meeting rooms, and a fitness center.  The hotel’s space was damaged by Hurricane Sandy last October, and underwent renovations.

The new space is now 7,000 square feet (650 square meters), up from 4,000 square feet (371 square meters), and can accommodate up to 450 guests, as opposed to the previous limit of 75.  The space includes a 4,700 square foot (436 square meter) Gallery that can be divided into four smaller rooms.

Also included in the new space are an open kitchen and three new event spaces: Stock, Bond, and Exchange, which range in size from 740 to 1,900 square feet (68 to 176 square meters).  Each is equipped with LCD TVs, open pantries with personal espresso machines, and audio-visual equipment.

The renovated fitness center now uses green technology, and has hybrid treadmills from Life Fitness, wireless controls, and LED lighting.  In addition, the hotel’s spa was also renovated.
