JetBlue Begins New Twice Daily Boston-Houston Service

JetBlue announced the launch of new twice daily service between Boston and Houston.  The service operates using Embraer 190 aircraft.

Flights depart from Boston Logan International Airport at 7:00 a.m. and 1:40 p.m., and arrive at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport at 9:57 a.m. and 4:39 p.m.  Flights from Houston to Boston depart at 10:35 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. and arrive at 3:15 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

JetBlue’s Embraer 190 aircraft are equipped with 100 seats, with 16 in Even More Space, and 84 in coach.  Seats in Even More Space have a width of 18.25”, with a pitch of 39”.

In celebration of the new service, JetBlue is offering passengers flights between the two cities starting at $129 each way, for travel between August 21 and October 31, 2013.  The airline is also offering its passengers the chance to earn double TrueBlue points on flights between Boston and: Houston; Austin; and Dallas/Fort Worth, through October 15 of this year.
