Delta’s BusinessElite cabin on a 767-300ER

Delta Air Lines said it will begin to operate nonstop service between Seattle and London starting in March 2014.

Flights will depart Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 6:40 p.m. local time and arrive at London Heathrow Airport at 12:05 p.m. the following day.  Seattle-bound flights will depart London at 12:20 p.m. and arrive in Seattle at 2:40 p.m. the same day.

Delta will operate the service, which starts March 29, 2014, using 210-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.  Seats in the BusinessElite business-class cabin are configured in a 1-2-1 arrangement.  Each of the 35 fully lie-flat seats is 21” wide and pitched at between 76 to 82”.  The aircraft has 32 Economy Comfort premium-economy seats with 35” of pitch and a width of 17.9”.  In the main cabin are 143 economy seats with a pitch of 31-32” and a width of 17.9”.

Delta offers a total of eight nonstop international destinations from Seattle, including flights to both of Tokyo’s international airports as well as to Shanghai.
