A Copa aircraft en route to Panama City

Copa Airlines announced it will begin new nonstop service between Panama City, Panama, and Tampa, Florida on December 16 of this year.  The service will operate four times a week, using Boeing Next Generation 737-700 aircraft.

Flights will depart from Panama City at 6:34 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive in Tampa at 9:53 p.m.  Flights from Tampa will depart at 7:02 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and will arrive in Panama City at 10:12 a.m.

Copa’s 737-700 Next Generation aircraft are outfitted with 12 seats in business class and 112 seats in economy class.  Seats in business class are 20” wide, and have a pitch of 50”.

Copa Airlines was established in 1947, and is the national flag carrier of Panama.  It is currently a member of Star Alliance.
