Garuda Indonesia announced that Boeing delivered the airline’s first 777-300ER aircraft today.  The aircraft is the first of 10 777-300ERs that the airline will receive.

Garuda’s 300ERs are configured with a total of 314 seats.  These include eight first class suites, 38 business class lie-flat seats, and 268 seats in economy class.

The 777-300ER is the world’s largest long-range twin-engine commercial airliner.  It has a range of 7,825 nautical miles (14,490 kilometers).

Garuda announced last month that it will become the newest member of SkyTeam in March of next year.  The airline will be the alliance’s 20th member, and its second from Southeast Asia.
