Aer Lingus to Add Service to San Francisco, Toronto

Aer Lingus announced it will begin new service between Dublin, Ireland, and both San Francisco and Toronto.  In addition, the airline will also increase the number of flights on its Shannon-Boston and Shannon-New York routes.

Beginning in April of next year, Aer Lingus will commence year round, nonstop service between Dublin and San Francisco.  The service will operate five times a week using Airbus A330 aircraft.

Also in April 2014, the airline will start new daily nonstop summer seasonal service between Dublin and Toronto, using a Boeing 757 aircraft.  During the winter season, the service will continue to operate as many as four times a week.

The additional flights between both Boston and New York, and Shannon, Ireland will also operate using a Boeing 757 aircraft.
