JetBlue to Begin Fort Lauderdale-San Jose, Costa Rica Service

JetBlue announced the launch of new daily, nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale, Florida and San Jose, Costa Rica.  The service operates using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights depart from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 9:45 a.m. and arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose at 10:38 a.m.  Flights from San Jose to Fort Lauderdale depart at 1:20 p.m. and arrive at 6:24 p.m.

The Airbus A320 aircraft are equipped with 150 seats, each with a width of 17.8 inches.  The 42 seats in Even More Space have a pitch of 38-39 inches.

In celebration of the new service, JetBlue is offering one-way flights from Fort Lauderdale to San Jose for $135, for travel between September 6 and December 13 of this year.  Tickets must be purchased before July 2.
