Alaska Airlines to Offer Service to Phoenix and Las Vegas

Alaska Airlines announced it will offer thrice-weekly nonstop service between Anchorage and Phoenix and Anchorage and Las Vegas. The Anchorage-Phoenix flights will start on December 18, and the Las Vegas service will start the following day.

Service between Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport and McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas will operate year round while flights to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will run on a seasonal basis and end on April 19 in 2014.

Anchorage-Phoenix flights will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Flights will depart Anchorage at 9:10 a.m. and arrive in Phoenix at 4:35 p.m. local time. Return flights will depart at 5:35 p.m. and arrive in Anchorage at 9:30 p.m.

The new Las Vegas flights will operate on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights will leave Anchorage at 10:05 a.m. and arrive at 4:30 p.m. local time. Return flights will leave Las Vegas at 5:10 p.m., arriving in Anchorage at 9:45 p.m.
