Alaska Airlines announced it will begin new service between San Diego and Boise, Idaho on November 1, as well as seasonal service between San Diego and Mammoth Lakes, California on December 19.  In addition, the airline also announced it will begin new service between Seattle and both Colorado Springs and Omaha, Nebraska, as well as add new nonstop service between Portland, Oregon and both Tucson, Arizona and Reno, Nevada.

The airline’s service between San Diego and Boise will be daily, as will its seasonal service between San Diego and Mammoth Lakes, which will operate between December 19, 2013 and April 13, 2014.

SkyWest Airlines will operate the new San Diego-Boise service, using a CRJ-700 regional jet equipped with 70 seats.  The San Diego-Mammoth Lakes service will be operated by Horizon Air, using a Bombardier Q400 aircraft outfitted with 76 seats.

On November 1, Alaska will also begin new daily service between Seattle and Colorado Springs, Colorado, in addition to beginning new daily service between Seattle and Omaha, Nebraska on November 7.  From Portland, Oregon, the airline will add new daily nonstop service to Tucson, Arizona on November 1, as well as to Reno, Nevada on November 8.

The Seattle-Colorado Springs and Seattle-Omaha routes, as well as the airline’s Portland-Tucson service, will be operated by SkyWest Airlines, using a CRJ-700 regional jet equipped with 70 seats, while the service between Portland and Reno will be operated by Horizon Air, using a 76-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
