US Airways Resumes Seasonal Service to Shannon, Ireland

US Airways announced it has resumed summer service to Shannon in Ireland.

The flight  will operate daily from May 23 through September 6.

Daily flights will depart from Philadelphia International Airport at 9:05 p.m. and will arrive at Shannon Airport at 8:40 a.m. the following morning.  Flights from Shannon will depart at 11:35 a.m. and arrive in Philadelphia at 2:05 p.m.

The service will operate on 176-seat two-class Boeing 757-200 aircraft.  The aircraft has 12 seats in business class (Envoy) and 164 in economy.  Envoy seating is arranged in a 2-2 configuration with 60” of pitch and a 110-volt outlet for each seat.

The service restarted after a four-year hiatus.  It is operating in conjunction with year-round service to Dublin.
