United Airlines Announces New Chicago-San Juan Service
United Airlines announced it will launch daily flights between Chicago and San Juan, Puerto Rico on November 5 of this year. The airline also plans to add a second daily flight between the two cities from December 4 through January 5, 2014.
Flights will depart Chicago O’Hare International Airport at 8:20 a.m. and arrive at Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan at 2:57 p.m. Flights from San Juan to Chicago will depart at 3:55 p.m. and arrive in Chicago at 7:13 p.m.
The service will operate using Boeing 737-900 aircraft. The aircraft will be configured with 20 seats in first class, 51 in Economy Plus, and 96 in economy.
United began service between San Francisco and Paris as well as between Chicago and Washington, D.C. to three Central American destinations last month.
