Hyatt to Open New Hotel in Uzbekistan

Hyatt announced that it will open a hotel in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in January 2015.  The hotel will be a Hyatt Regency.

The Hyatt Regency Tashkent will have 300 guestrooms, including 44 suites.  There will also be two restaurants, a bar, and over 12,916 square feet (1,200 square meters) of meeting and event space.

The hotel will be located on Tashkent’s Navoi Street, the city’s main street.  Situated near the hotel are retail outlets, government offices, and the National Library.

Tashkent is the capital city of Uzbekistan.  It is located near the border of Kazakhstan.
