The Hunt Valley Inn in Sparks, Maryland, will reopen as a Wyndham Grand Hotel property.  The property will undergo renovations with a budget of roughly $10 million.  Sparks is an unincorporated community that is roughly 20 miles (32.18 kilometers) north of Baltimore and is considered a suburb of the city.

Renovations will be made to the hotel’s 392 rooms, meeting and event space, and restaurant and lounge.  Refurbishments will also be made to the hotel’s exterior

The hotel will receive a new event lawn and outdoor pavilion.  The property’s Wi-Fi capacity will also be expanded.

The hotel was recently acquired by Laurus Corporation.  Wyndham considers the Grand hotel collection the “crown jewel” of its properties.  Each Wyndham Grand hotel and resort is unique and offers a localized experience to guests.
