Aeromexico announced it will add three Embraer 175 aircraft to its fleet.  The airline will deploy two of the planes on routes beginning in June.

The aircraft are outfitted with 86 seats in one class in a 2-2 configuration.  Aeromexico plans to gradually replace its Embraer 145 aircraft with the Embraer 175s.

The airline will be the first in Mexico to operate the aircraft.

Two of the aircraft will begin operations on June 1 and June 20.  Routes will include flights between Mexico City and Acapulco, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Guadalajara, Tampico, Zihuatanejo, Minatitlan, San Luis Potosi and Aguascalientes .

Earlier today, United announced it was adding additional Embraer 175 aircraft to its United Express fleet as well.
