DSC_0868US Airways announced it will offer complimentary headsets and wine with their main meal to passengers traveling in economy class on flights to and from Europe, South America, and the Middle East, beginning May 1.  In addition, the airline will also introduce new amenity kits in Envoy, the airline’s international business class, starting this July.

The airline’s new amenity kits, created in partnership with Red Flower, an eco-friendly provider of beauty products, will contain botanical products, including body lotion, lip balm, and a facial towelette.  Also included are socks, eyeshades, earplugs, tissues, toothpaste, a toothbrush, pen, and mouthwash.

Earlier this April, US Airways expanded DineFresh, its chilled meal option with wine, to select trans-Atlantic flights to Philadelphia and Charlotte, North Carolina.  The option was previously only available on trans-Atlantic flights from the two cities.

The airline also began offering passengers traveling in first class a choice of snacks in addition to their meal on long-haul flights, on April 1 of this year.  On that same date, the carrier introduced a continental-style breakfast and a mint on overnight long-haul flights.
