JW Marriott announced a new and healthy menu for children.  The new JW Kids Menu will debut in JW Marriott Hotel & Resorts in the U.S. this spring.

The JW Kids Menu features comfort food with a healthy twist, includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, and offers both large and small dishes.  It is divided into three sections: Kids Nosh, Big Kids, and This, That & the Other.

Kids Nosh includes items such as fresh-cut cucumber and carrot sticks with low-fat yogurt ranch dip, as well as cheese cubes and grapes.  The Big Kids section offers selections that cater to older children, including items such as turkey meatballs, as well as more sophisticated items such as grilled organic chicken.  This, That & the Other will allow younger children to mix and match their choices with help and guidance from parents.

The hotel chain partnered with nutritionist and author Keri Glassman to create the new menu, which is meant to help children build healthy eating habits while traveling, and emphasizes organic and locally-sourced ingredients.  The menu includes an activity book, crayons, and a take-home reusable cup.
