JetBlue Announces New Service Between Fort Lauderdale and Lima, Peru

DSC_1555JetBlue Airways announced new daily, nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Lima, Peru, set to begin on November 21 of this year.  The new service is subject to government approval.

Flights will depart Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 5:40 p.m. and arrive at Jorge Chavez International Airport at 11:30 p.m.  Flights from Lima to Fort Lauderdale will depart at 12:30 a.m. and arrive at 6:19 a.m.

The service will operate using Airbus A320 aircraft, outfitted with 42 seats in Even More Class, and 108 seats in coach.  Passengers will receive a first checked bag free.

In celebration of the new service, the airline is offering special fares as low as $139 for one-way travel from Fort Lauderdale, and $199 from Lima until May 3, for travel between November 21 and December 19, 2013.  The airline also recently launched a new Albuquerque-New York service, also operated with Airbus A320 aircraft.
