Introducing the myFBT News and Information Portal
Frequent Business Traveler announced the launch of myFBT, a personalized news portal. MyFBT is a hub for travel news that you, the reader, find most relevant to your interests, offering a customizable approach to how you interact with our content.
Over the past year, Frequent Business Traveler has dramatically increased its news coverage. Breaking and fast-moving news stories about airlines and aviation, hotels, and travel in general are reported as they happen.
MyFBT provides you with a clean and organized reading experience, where you can sort our news and reviews into topics, trending keywords, or even countries. Each stream will contain the latest news, information, and/or reviews on the selected topic.
MyFBT users have a choice of dozens of travel-related news and information topics to choose from. These include reviews of airlines, hotels, cars and personal tech gear as well as news relevant to Apple, Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner or London. There are broader topics as well, such as New Airline Routes and Hotel Renovations which don’t focus on news from one specific airline or hotel chain.
To set up your myFBT (there is no charge, of course), simply follow these steps:
1.) Register (or go to www.frequentbusinesstraveler.com and click REGISTER on the top right)
2.) Verify (you will get an e-mail with a link to click on)
3.) Log in here (or go to www.frequentbusinesstraveler.com and click LOGIN on the top right)
4.) Once logged in, click on myFBT (again on the top right; this option appears only after you are logged in)
Begin to create your own myFBT page by selecting topics of particular interest to you from each of the drop down menus. If you’d like to change the topic of a stream at a later time, click on the circular gear icon to the right of the topic you’ve selected and choose a new one from the drop down menu.
The myFBT page supports five streams of personalized news and includes an all-inclusive scrolling news column.
We hope that myFBT will serve as a helpful service where our readers can keep tabs on their favorite topics in one convenient place.
