The Hyatt Regency Dallas announced that it completed a $50 million renovation of its guestrooms, bathrooms, and corridors.  The renovations were completed shortly before the hotel’s 35th anniversary, which will take place April 22.

The guestrooms have been redone to reflect the idea of “new Dallas,” which has a modern and new-age aesthetic.  In keeping with this, rooms now have a lounge chair, desk chair, and chaise lounge, as well as a HD flat screen TV.

Each guestroom has new swipe entry systems for room access. Rooms have a ceramic tile floor in the foyer, which transitions to neutral color carpet featuring a tailored urban pattern.

The bathrooms now have sliding “barn doors,” and include backlit mirrors and a freestanding vanity.  On the wall is a collage of Dallas-inspired images screen-printed onto metal.

The redesign of the hotel’s corridors includes carpets which have a colored landscape image woven into them.  Each door has new sidelight towers at the door drops that create a candlelight effect in the hallway.
