Emirates Plans New York-Milan Route
Emirates Airline announced it will begin to offer non-stop service between New York and Milan on October 1.
The new flight, which will operate using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, will depart New York at 10:20 p.m. and arrive in Milan, Italy the next day at 12:15 p.m. The same flight will continue onto Dubai, departing Milan at 2 p.m. and arriving in Dubai at 10:05 p.m. the same day. Westbound flights will depart Milan at 4 p.m. and arrive in New York at 7 p.m. the same day. The flight will originate in Dubai and depart that city at 9:05 a.m., arriving in Milan at 1:50 p.m.
Emirates’ 777-300ER is configured with eight first-class seats, 42 business-class seats, and 310 seats in economy. Emirates’ first-class Private Suites come with a sliding door, a minibar, adjustable lighting, a vanity table, mirror, and wardrobe. Business-class seats convert into fully lie-flat beds and have a minibar and an extra-large table. The Emirates flight is the only service from New York to Milan that offers currently a first-class cabin.
First- and business-class passengers receive transportation to and from the airport in New York and Milan in addition to lounge access.
Emirates is coordinating its New York-Milan flights with JetBlue to allow for connections to a variety of destinations within the United States including Boston and Orlando. In Milan, the schedule supports connections with easyJet flights from Milan to multiple European cities.
