Emirates announced it will begin daily flights to Stockholm, Sweden from its base in Dubai on September 4 of this year.  The service will operate using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Flights will depart from Dubai International Airport at 7:15 a.m. and arrive at Stockholm Arlanda Airport at 12:00 noon.  Flights from Dubai to Stockholm will depart at 1:55 p.m. and arrive at 10:25 p.m.

Emirates’ 777-300ER on this route is configured with eight first-class seats, 42 business-class seats, and 304 seats in economy.  Emirates’ first-class Private Suites come with a sliding door, a minibar, adjustable lighting, a vanity table, mirror, and wardrobe.  Business-class seats convert into fully lie-flat beds and have a minibar and an extra-large table.

First- and business-class passengers receive transportation to and from the airport in Stockholm and Dubai in addition to lounge access.

The new Stockholm service will follow the airline’s launch of a Tokyo Haneda service on June 3 of this year.  Emirates also plan to begin daily flights to Clark in the Philippines and New York to Milan on October 1.
