Ritz-Carlton announced that it will open a new property in Aruba on November 2, 2013.  The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba will be located on Palm Beach, on the western side of the island.

The hotel will have 320 oceanfront rooms, including 55 suites.  Suites will have a separate living room and a guest washroom, and the two largest suites will offer have a balcony with outdoor showers.

The hotel will also have a Ritz-Carlton Club Level that functions as a hotel within a hotel.  It will have 35 rooms and a private concierge.

The new Ritz-Carlton will have four restaurants, including the Beach Grill, which will feature specialty cocktails, small dishes, and open-air dining, and the Lobby Lounge.  The hotel will also offer 24-hour room service.

Guests will have access to the Ritz-Carlton Spa, featuring 15 separate treatment rooms and three specialty spa showers, as well as a fitness center that will offer yoga, spinning, Pilates, and other various workout classes.  Also on the property are two swimming pools and a casino.  For meetings and events, the hotel will have a 7,500 square foot (696 square meters) ballroom, a 600 square foot (55 square meter) executive boardroom, and two separate meeting rooms.

Aruba is a 20-mile (33-kilometer) long island located in the southern Caribbean Sea, off the northern coast of Venezuela.  About three fourths of the island’s GNP comes from tourism.
