JetBlue Airways and Qatar Airways announced a codeshare agreement.  Under the agreement, passengers with a Qatar Airways ticket will be able to fly on various JetBlue-operated connecting flights to and from both New York and Washington, D.C.

Destinations that passengers with a Qatar Airways ticket will be able to connect to with JetBlue include: Buffalo, New York; Charlotte, North Carolina; Denver; New Orleans; Phoenix; and Salt Lake City.  JetBlue and Qatar have been interline partners since 2011, enabling passengers to use a single ticket for flights on both airlines.

From Washington’s Dulles airport, JetBlue offers flights to destinations including Boston, New York, and Long Beach, California.  From New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, the airline offers service to cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, and Orlando.

The codeshare agreement is subject to government approval.  Upon approval, customers will be able to purchase tickets through various travel websites or through the Qatar Airways website and reservations hotline.
