Air China to Increase Frequency on Beijing-Vancouver Route
Air China announced that it will add four additional flights weekly to its Beijing-Vancouver service, beginning May 17, 2013. The extra flights will bring the total number of weekly flights for the airline’s Beijing-Vancouver route to 11.
The additional flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The service will operate using an Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Last week the airline announced it will launch new service from Beijing to Houston, Texas, starting in July, and also said it will increase that its flights from Beijing to Los Angeles International Airport to twice daily.
Air China, founded in 1988, is the flag carrier of the People’s Republic of China. Its main hub is at Beijing Capital International Airport and it is the world’s tenth largest airport in terms of fleet size.
