JetBlue to Add More Flights From San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale and Austin

JetBlue announced that it will add a second daily nonstop flight between San Francisco and Fort Lauderdale, beginning May 21, 2013.  Also on that same date, the airline plans to add a second daily seasonal flight between San Francisco and Austin, Texas.

The additional flight to Fort Lauderdale will depart from San Francisco International Airport at 2:25 p.m. and arrive at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 10:56 p.m.  The flight from Fort Lauderdale to San Francisco will depart at 10:40 a.m. and arrive at 1:34 p.m.

From Austin, the additional flights will depart from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at 8:59 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 10:54 p.m.  Flights from San Francisco to Austin will depart at 11:39 p.m. and arrive at 5:00 a.m. the next day.  The seasonal service between the two cities will be from May 21 until September 2, 2013.

Each of the new services will operate using an Airbus A320 aircraft.  JetBlue currently serves 75 cities and will add service to Charleston, S.C., Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this year.
