Alaska Airlines to Begin New Service Between Fairbanks and Portland, Oregon

Alaska Airlines announced it will add seasonal daily nonstop service between Fairbanks and Portland, Oregon, on June 9.  The last day for this flight in 2013 will be September 2, 2013.

In celebration of the new service, the airline is offering a special one-way fare of $179, which must be purchased by February 16, for travel by July 9, 2013.

Flights will depart from Portland at 8:05 p.m. and arrive in Fairbanks at 11:05 p.m.  Flights from Fairbanks to Portland will depart at 12:15 a.m. and arrive at 5:04 a.m.

Service from Portland to Fairbanks will begin on June 9 and end on September 1, 2013.  The first flight from Fairbanks to Portland will be on June 10, and the final flight will be on September 2, 2013.
