US Airways to Start Philadelphia-Salt Lake Route

US Airways has announced that it will begin daily nonstop service between Philadelphia and Salt Lake City on June 8, 2013.  The service will operate year-round, using a two-class Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights will depart from Salt Lake City International Airport at 8:25 a.m. and arrive at Philadelphia International Airport at 2:44 p.m.  Flights from Philadelphia to Salt Lake City will depart at 6:10 p.m., and arrive at 9:04 p.m.

The new service will allow travelers from Salt Lake City one-stop access to destinations up and down the east coast, as well as Europe and the Caribbean.  Once the service goes into effect, US Airways will operate 462 weekly departures to 111 destinations in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe, and the Caribbean from Philadelphia.
