Hainan Airlines to Begin Beijing-Chicago Service

Hainan Airlines announced that it will begin service between Chicago and Beijing on September 3, 2013.  The new route will operate using two-class Airbus A330-200 aircraft, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Flights will depart from Chicago O’Hare International Airport at 3:30 p.m. and arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport at 6:40 p.m. the next day.  Flights from Beijing to Chicago will depart at 1:20 p.m. and arrive at 1:30 p.m. the same day.

The new service will be in addition to Hainan Airlines’ existing North American-Beijing routes from Seattle and Toronto.  Tickets for the new service can be purchased on the airline’s website.
