Brussels Airlines will begin direct flights between Brussels and Washington, D.C. on June 18, 2013.  The service will operate using an Airbus A330 aircraft, five times a week.

Flights from Brussels will depart from Brussels Airport at 5:30 p.m. and arrive at Washington Dulles at 8:15 p.m., on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.  From Washington to Brussels, flights will depart at 10:35 p.m. and arrive at 12:10 p.m.

Washington, D.C. will be the airline’s second trans-Atlantic destination, after the launch of the Brussels-New York route last year.  In terms of passenger numbers, Washington, D.C. is the third most important intercontinental destination in Belgium’s market.
