Virgin America Announces New Seasonal Winter Menu
Virgin America has announced its new seasonal winter menu. The airline’s new menu includes items for passengers travelling in all classes, as well as a selection of “Travel Light” items.
In first class, menu options such as Rosemary Fig Scones, Fruit Plate with Mushroom and Cheese Biscuit, Winter Fruit Crumble with Mozzarella Omelet, and Black Bean Hummus with Mini Pitas are available for breakfast, while items such as the Portobello and Fontina Ravioli, Panela and Roasted Tomato Salad, Barbeque Chicken Mixiote, and Wagyu Beef Cheeseburger are available later in the flight.
For dessert, first class passengers are offered a choice between Pears Poached in Red Wine, Mini Chocolate Brownies, and L’artisan French Macaroons.
Passengers in the main cabin as well as in Main Cabin Select may choose from a selection of items including Hail Merry Granola with Fresh Fruit and Yogurt, Mole Chicken Sandwich, Marinated Cecina Beef Wrap, and Peanut Butter & Jam Half Sandwich, while “Travel Light” menu items include the Artisan Cheese Selection, Spicy Quinoa Wrap, Peppered Turkey Sandwich, and Tuna Nicoise Salad.
Additional snacks include Kuko Bites and Krave Basil Citrus Turkey Jerkey, and 479° Popcorn Sea Salt Caramel and BBQ Popchips for “Travel Light” options. Menu items are complimentary for Main Cabin Select passengers, and range in price from $4 to $9 for those traveling in the main cabin.
