Virgin America Announces New Flights to Newark Liberty

Virgin America has announced it will launch new flights between California and Newark Liberty International Airport, beginning April 2, 2013.  The new services will include three daily, nonstop flights between Newark, and both San Francisco International Airport, and Los Angeles International Airport.

Flights from Newark to Los Angeles will depart at 9:15 a.m. and arrive at 12:30 p.m., depart at 1:00 p.m. and arrive at 4:15 p.m., and depart at 6:55 p.m. and arrive at 10:10 p.m.  From Los Angeles to Newark, flights will depart at 9:40 a.m., 1:15 p.m., and 11:45 p.m., and will arrive at 6:00 p.m., 9:29 p.m., and 7:59 a.m. the next day, respectively.

For Newark to San Francisco flights, departure times will be 7:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 5:30 p.m., with arrival times of 11:05 a.m., 2:05 p.m., and 9:05 p.m.  Flights from San Francisco will depart at 8:00 a.m. and arrive in Newark at 4:35 p.m., depart at 3:05 p.m. and arrive at 11:40 p.m., and depart at 9:15 p.m. and arrive at 5:45 a.m. the next day.

Virgin America offers passengers over 25 on-demand movies, 18 channels of live TV, a 4,000 song music library, and a video game library, in addition to seat-to-seat messaging, and the first on-demand food and drink ordering system.
