The Oberoi, Bangalore Completes Major Renovation

The Oberoi, Bangalore has unveiled 86 newly renovated guest rooms.  In addition, the hotel also introduced new in-room technology.

The rooms now have a palette of beige, gold, caramel, and royal ink blue tones, and feature silk, leather, wood, and white marble furnishings.  In addition, there is polished brass in the coffee tables, and modern artwork and lamps.

The bathrooms now include features such as motorized blinds in white marble, a standalone bathtub, separate shower, and leather accessories.  There is also a 17” LCD TV.

The hotel also introduced “Oberoi E’nhance,” a technology that allows guests to customize in-room amenities through an iPad.  Guests can browse movies, customize lighting, and order in-room dining.  The technology also includes information on guest services, restaurants and bars, monthly dining promotions, virtual hotel tours, and local attractions.
