Starwood Opens the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village

Pool Westin Cape CoralStarwood has announced the opening of the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village. The hotel, previously known as the Resort at Marina Village, is located in the waterfront community of Tarpon Point, and is Starwood’s first full-service property in southwest Florida.

The property has 263 rooms and suites, each with high-speed Internet access, the company’s signature Westin Heavenly Bed, Heavenly Bath, and Heavenly Shower, and White Tea Aloe bath amenities.  The hotel’s dining options include the Nauti Mermaid Dockside Bar & Grill, which features al fresco dining and live music, and Marker 92 Waterfront Bar & Bistro, which offers both indoor and patio seating, and has a menu featuring fresh seafood, steaks, sushi, and a selection of wines.

The hotel also has a lagoon-style outdoor pool, access to clay tennis courts, and 25,000 square feet of meeting and event space.  There is also a fitness studio, and, following further renovations, the hotel will open a Westin Kids Club and Heavenly Spa by Westin.
