Starwood announced the opening of the Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort, located on Kuta Beach in Bali.  Situated on the Indian Ocean just three miles from Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport, the hotel is part of a shopping destination that comprises over 200 retail outlets in an open-air space.

The resort includes 203 guestrooms and suites, ranging from 105 to 869 square feet, and each with a private balcony.  There is also the two-story Presidential Suite with a private sundeck lounge.

For dining options, guests are offered Bene, an Italian-style venue with an oceanic setting and rooftop deck level, and Feast, an all-day dining establishment.  In addition, the Lounge offers a locally-inspired cocktail menu in an open-air setting.

The hotel also includes a fitness center and spa, which offers guests signature spa treatments with local Balinese touches.  There is also over 5,249 square feet of flexible meeting space, which includes a 2,296 square foot ballroom.

Kuta is one of the first towns in Bali to see a substantial tourist development.  Located on the Indian Ocean, Kuta Beach is renowned for being a surfer’s paradise.
