LV Air to Launch in 2013
LV Air announced plans to launch as a new airline in 2013.
The carrier plans to fly Boeing 767 aircraft on non-stop flights to Las Vegas although no specific route information has been announced.
Part of its mission will be to bring a taste of Las Vegas to flying. “Every flight will feature an online and private network gaming experience, said Eneliko Sean Smith, the airline’s CEO.
According to a published statement, LV Air is in the process of negotiating the acquisition of another airline, although no details were disclosed. Its aircraft will feature a first class cabin with reclining beds and a shower/changing room. Business class, which LV Air calls Club Class, will feature a Circle Bar and translucent bulkheads.
Other innovations planned by the airline include hologram safety videos by celebrities and iPads as the interface for in-flight entertainment.
The airline plans to partner with casinos and other gaming establishments in the coming months.
