Loews Hotels Purchases Madison Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Loews Hotels & Resorts has purchased the Madison Hotel in Washington, D.C. from Jamestown Properties.  The property is the second hotel that the company has acquired

Located at 15th and M Street, the 356-room hotel is in close proximity to the White House, the Capitol, the National Mall, the Smithsonian Museums, and Embassy Row.  The hotel’s restaurant, the Federalist, features traditional Mid-Atlantic dishes, while PostScript Bar and Lounge features artisan pastries, panini, barista specialties, and hand-crafted cocktails.

The property also includes more than 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space.  The space is made up of 12 individual rooms, including a 3,300 square foot ballroom with a capacity for up to 400 guests.
