Kimpton Hotels & Resorts announced that it has purchased the Hotel Wilshire and added it to its portfolio of boutique hotels.  The transaction was in partnership OSM Investment Company.  Located in the Miracle Mile section of Los Angeles, the 74-room boutique hotel is Kimpton’s second property in the city.

The hotel has 55 guestrooms and 19 suites, one of which is a rooftop penthouse suite.  It also has 1,750 square feet of meeting and event space, as well as a rooftop pool and deck, the latter being home to the Roof on Wilshire restaurant.

Kimpton has a few changes in store for the Wilshire, including its traditional evening wine reception, animal print robes, InTouch loyalty program perks, and the implementation of Kimpton’s EarthCare program, which emphasizes eco-friendly products and practices.

The Wilshire is located near multiple museums and galleries, and is just minutes from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hollywood, and Century City.

Kimpton currently operates 58 hotels and 67 restaurants in the United States.  The company has properties in 24 cities.
