JetBlue Announces Fort Lauderdale-Medellin Route

JetBlue will begin daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale and Medellin, DSC_0629Colombia in June 2013. Medellin will be the third destination in Colombia to be served by the airline, and the second to be served from Fort Lauderdale.

Flights are scheduled to depart Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 4:45 p.m. and arrive at Jose Maria Cordova International Airport in Medellin at 7:05 p.m. Flights from Medellin to Fort Lauderdale will depart at 7:05 a.m. and arrive at 11:30 a.m.

The flights will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft, and customers will receive a first checked bag free, leather and assigned seats, and complimentary drinks and snacks. Tickets for the new service will go on sale beginning January 2013.
