InterContinental Hotels Group announced the opening of the Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County, following its conversion from an independent brand, the Hotel Hanford.  Situated in Costa Mesa, California, various destinations such as Disneyland, John Wayne Airport, golf courses, and museums are located nearby.

The interior of the hotel is designed to reflect a relaxed Southern California atmosphere.  There are 224 rooms, six of which are suites.  All rooms feature complimentary high-speed Internet access, in-room dining, and rainwater showers.

The hotel has 9,000 square feet of meeting and event space.  A new executive chef, Ruben Gonzalez, has also been hired to oversee a restaurant concept and menu change that will be announced in the coming months.
