A new Hyatt Regency Hotel will open at Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia. The 17-story, 300-room hotel is part of a redevelopment project that will include pedestrian walkways, bicycle paths, a 22-story office building, and a 28-story residential apartment building, set to open in 2014.

The new Hyatt Regency at Tysons Corner Center will feature an executive conference center, restaurant, bar and lounge, business center, and a coffee and sundries shop. There will also be a pool and fitness center, as well as 15,500 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 7,000 square foot ballroom.

The hotel will be connected to Tysons Corner Center, a large shopping mall, by a covered walkway. Visitors will be able to use the walkway and mall to access the new Tysons Corner Metrorail station, which will provide service to downtown Washington, D.C.
