Hyatt announced that it will open a new Hyatt Regency hotel in Istanbul, Turkey, in January 2014. The Hyatt Regency Istanbul Ataköy will be the third Hyatt property in Istanbul.

The hotel will feature 310 guestrooms, 30 of which will be suites, ranging in size from 124 square feet (38 square meters) to 590 square feet (180 square meters). A 3,280 square foot (1,000 square meter) ballroom will be included in the more than 5,577 square feet (1,700 square meters) of meeting and event space, and there will also be two restaurants, a rooftop bar, both indoor and outdoor pools, and a fitness center and spa.

The hotel will be located in Western Istanbul, a short drive from Ataköy International Airport. Also located in the area is Istanbul’s historic Old Town, home to attractions that include the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and the Grand Bazaar.
