Hilton has announced the opening of its first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Croatia.  Located in the capital city of Zagreb, the 152-room DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb is part of the new Green Gold Shopping Centre, situated about a mile from the city’s old town.

The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, complimentary high-speed Internet, flat screen TVs, ironing boards, and minibars.  There is also in-room coffee and tea, as well as Crabtree & Evelyn Citron bath and body products.

The hotel has over 4,140 square feet of meeting space, including the Mimosa Ballroom, which can seat up to 250 guests.  There is also a 24-hour business center.

The Hotel’s restaurant, Oxbo Urban Bar and Grill, features a contemporary menu with international dishes and local Croatian cuisine.  Menu items include lamb beef duo, egg ravioli with mushroom and garlic scented broth, and grilled fish and vegetable options.
