Marriott International has completed its acquisition of Gaylord Hotels. Marriott Rewards points may now be earned and redeemed at three Gaylord Hotel locations, and a fourth will be added in early 2013.

Marriott Rewards members may earn 10 points per dollar spent on room rate only, or two airline miles per dollar spent on room rate only at the The Gaylord National in National Harbor, Maryland; the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, Florida; and the Gaylord Texan, in Grapevine, Texas. Meeting planners may now also earn up to 50,000 points by earning up to three Marriott Rewards points per dollar spent, or earn one airline mile per dollar spent on business expenses. For each qualifying group, meeting, or event held at one of the three Gaylord locations, meeting planners will also earn 10 elite nights towards elite status.

Gaylord Hotels are the 14th brand to join the Marriott Rewards portfolio. In addition to the three current locations, a fourth location, the Gaylord Opryland, in Nashville, Tennessee, will offer Marriott Rewards points and benefits starting in early 2013.
