Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Fairmont Makati on December 3, 2012.  Located in the city of Makati, the property will be the brand’s first hotel in the Philippines.

The Fairmont Makati includes 280 rooms and suites, including a Fairmont Gold floor, essentially a hotel within a hotel.  Each room has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and the hotel is decorated with materials such as coco-twig white resin, crushed mahogany seeds, and abaca laminated glass.

The hotel’s restaurants include Spectrum, an all-day dining venue featuring five of what the hotel refers to as “Culinary Theatres,” Café Macaron, offering freshly baked desserts, pralines, and pastries, and the Lounge at Fairmont, which serves tea and after-dinner snacks.

There is also 1,700 square meters (18,000 square feet) of meeting space within the hotel, including a 900 square meter (2,952 square foot) ballroom.  Fairmont Makati also includes Fairmont’s signature Willow Stream Spa, which features five treatment rooms, a hair salon, full-service nail studio, a mineral pool, and an outdoor pool.

The hotel is offering the Seeing is Believing package for stays from December 4, 2012, through March 31, 2013, with which guests can stay three nights for the price of two.
