Austrian Airlines will add Chicago to its list of North American cities served on May 17, 2013.  The new service will operate five times a week using a Boeing 767, which will be equipped with lie-flat seats in business class.

The airline will offer connections from Chicago to other American cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Denver, Las Vegas, and Seattle.  In addition, passengers flying from Chicago to Central and Eastern Europe will be able to take advantage of Austrian Airlines’network into and out of these locations by transferring at the airline’s hub in Vienna.

When the new Chicago service begins, Austrian Airlines will offer a total of 26 non-stop flights a week into North America, including daily flights to New York, Washington, D.C., and Toronto.
