Hyatt Announces New Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka

Hyatt announced that it will open a Hyatt Regency hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The new Hyatt Regency Colombo, set to open in 2014, will be the company’s first property in Sri Lanka.
The 42-story hotel will offer 475 guestrooms and 84 serviced apartments. The property will have a lounge area, bar, and three specialty restaurants, along with an all-day dining multi-cuisine restaurant.
The hotel will feature eight spa treatment rooms, a fitness center, a pool, and a Regency Club Lounge. Also included will be more than 17,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 7,500 square foot ballroom.
