DoubleTree Opens New Hotel in Boston
DoubleTree by Hilton announced the opening of a newly-renovated upscale hotel in Boston. The 364-room DoubleTree by Hilton Boston North Shore is the company’s fourth hotel in the Boston Metropolitan area.
Renovations to the property include all of the guest rooms and public spaces, as well as the lobby and more than 30,000 square feet of meeting space. The rooms feature contemporary furnishings, granite bathrooms, mini fridges, complimentary high-speed Internet, work desks with ergonomic chairs, 32″ HD LCD TVs, MP3-compatible alarm clocks, and combed cotton linens. Amenities include Wolfgang Puck gourmet coffee and tea, as well as Crabtree & Evelyn Citron bath and body products.
The seventh and eighth floor executive rooms offer complimentary midweek access to the Executive Lounge, where newspapers and the hotel’s Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast are available. The meeting facilities include a 10,000 square foot ballroom with a 1,300 guest capacity. The property also features a 24-hour self-service business center with complimentary printing service.
The hotel also features an Atlantis Sport Club fitness center and full-service spa and pool, as well as a 65,000 square foot indoor water park. For dining, the hotel’s Tradewinds Restaurant offers contemporary American cuisine with locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients and fresh seafood, with daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The Tradewinds Lounge offers cocktails and snacks, while the Wet Rooster Bar showcases tropical drinks.
