Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts will open its first resort in Vietnam, the Laguna Lang Co, on November 1, 2012. Situated on a two mile stretch of beach near the Lang Co Bay in the Chan May region, the 700 acre resort includes the Banyan Tree Lang Co villa, and the Angsana Lang Co resort.

Banyan Tree Lang Co features 32 lagoon pool villas and 17 beach pool villas on Canh Duong Beach. The interior decorations include Champa sandstone sculptures, Dong Sun bronze drums, Vietnamese calligraphy, Dong Ho woodblock prints, water puppets, silk embroideries, and royal purple fabrics.

Included in Angsana Lang Co are 229 suites, more than 100 of which feature their own private pools.  Each suite offers mountain, lagoon, or sea views.  Throughout the resort finishing touches such as silk embroidery and eggshell lacquer, as well as the use of materials that include bamboo, rattan, and raffia weave, are used extensively.

Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts operates properties in Thailand, Indonesia, the Maldives and the Seychelles.
